We love iTrak. The system is easy to use and my staff adapted to it easily. The hospital COO was very impressed with our incident reports and the media feature is fantastic for displaying pictures of vehicle accidents, burglaries, or property damage. One of the greatest challenges we have is to keep track of parking permits for employees. We use the vehicle section on iTrak to do this. We adapted the VIN feature for putting an employee’s name in there and the odometer section for putting in our assigned decal number. We can now use the search feature and locate owners by name, tag number, decal number, or even vehicle description. The notes section is perfect for putting department or extension numbers in order to locate that employee. It is also handy for notations on who is getting ticketed for parking in the wrong places! It has helped beyond belief. As you know, we also ordered the lost and found module. Being a Medical facility we are constantly receiving lost items and are bombarded by phone calls from people who have lost valuables. The lost and found module helps us keep track of items being turned in as well as the items people report as being lost. Before iTrak we had to go through our records by hand and many items were skipped over due to human error. With iTrak we can use the match feature and locate an item as soon as we enter it into the system. Your staff was very helpful during the training phase and all questions were answered professionally. You have a fantastic product and offer it at a great price. iTrak was very helpful in allowing me to get approval for two part time positions in our security department. Our 3-11 shift is the busiest shift for us. By using iTrak I was able to show administration the number of calls and the type of calls (serious versus routine) we answered during these times. By using this information we were approved part time positions to assist during peak days and hours I was also able to do a comparison between the calls for service in 2006 and 2007 and how iTrak allows more accurate reporting."
