WILLIAM F. HARRAH COLLEGE AT UNLV INSTALLS iTRAK SOFTWARE

iView Systems Donates the iTrak Incident Reporting and Risk Management System to Compliment UNLV’s Game Protection Course

Oakville, Ontario, November 3, 2009 – iView Systems, a leading provider of security and surveillance solutions for the gaming industry, today announced that the William F. Harrah College of Hotel Administration at UNLV has integrated the iTrak Incident Reporting and Risk Management System into its’ Game Protection course.

The Protection of Casino Games course is designed to instruct the students on the importance of casino procedures as well as the cooperation and integration of multiple departments. This ensures the protection of the casino’s assets against internal and external theft, as well as maintaining the integrity of the games provided throughout the gaming property. This course is set-up to assist the students in obtaining the working knowledge needed to establish a solid foundation to begin, or continue, the pursuit of a career in gaming surveillance.

"As the casino industry enhances its surveillance methods, it is important for our students to know how the new technology works prior to entering the hotel and gaming fields," said Dean Stuart Mann of the Harrah Hotel College at UNLV. "The iTrak software is a helpful tool for students and we're grateful to iView Systems for their donation." The iTrak Incident Reporting & Risk Management System provides security and surveillance departments with a complete integrated risk management and auditing tool. It replaces traditional inefficient and unreliable paper based systems, enabling more effective deployment and auditing of available resources.

“Investing in the education of today’s students, to enhance their level of gaming industry applications is critical in this present economy,” said Michelle Austin, Marketing Communications at iView Systems. “Hands on learning is invaluable when moving into a fast paced casino environment. The more experience students acquire on real world systems, the better for their career, the casino and its’ patrons.”
